The short version
- VoidStream is a player. It includes no content: you bring your own sources.
- Only add sources you have the right to use. You are responsible for what you add and watch.
- Purchases made through an app store follow that store’s rules for billing, cancellation and refunds.
- You can stop using VoidStream and delete your account at any time.
- These terms are governed by Oklahoma law, without taking away the rights your local consumer law gives you.
This summary helps you read the terms. The full text below is what applies.
These terms are an agreement between you and VoidStream LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company (“we”, “us”). They apply when you use the VoidStream apps, voidstream.tv or docs.voidstream.tv. By creating an account or using VoidStream, you accept them. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
VoidStream is software for playing media from sources you add, such as your own Plex or Jellyfin server or an IPTV service you subscribe to. We do not host, sell, provide or recommend any films, series, channels or playlists, and none come with the app. Whether a source works, what it offers and the terms it sets are up to whoever runs it.
- You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live.
- Give us accurate information, and keep your password and parental PIN to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, including your household’s profiles and devices.
- Plans may limit the number of profiles, devices or sources.
- Tell us at support@voidstream.tv if you think someone else has used your account.
- Only add sources you are allowed to use, and use them within their own terms.
- Do not use VoidStream to infringe copyright or anyone else’s rights.
- You are responsible for the sources you add and the content you watch.
- We do not monitor your sources. If we receive a valid legal notice about a source used through VoidStream, we may disable it for the accounts concerned.
- To report infringement, write to support@voidstream.tv with “Copyright” in the subject.
You must not:
- break the law or anyone’s rights through VoidStream;
- try to get around plan limits, security or the parental PIN;
- reverse engineer, copy or modify the apps, except where the law allows it;
- overload, disrupt or scrape our services, or reach them other than through our apps and published interfaces;
- sell, rent or share access to your account outside your household.
- Some features may need a paid plan. What each plan includes and costs is shown before you buy.
- If you buy through an app store (Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft or Roku), that store handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds under its own terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- If we change a price, we tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
- If your plan ends, paid features lock. Your profiles and sources are kept, and come back if you renew.
We update VoidStream to fix problems and add features. Some updates may be required to keep using the service, for example when an older version no longer works with our servers. On devices where you installed VoidStream from a store, the store delivers updates.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the VoidStream apps on devices you own or control, under these terms. The apps include open-source components that are licensed under their own terms.
If you downloaded an app from an app store, that store’s terms also apply. On Apple devices, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms, and Apple is not responsible for VoidStream or its support.
You can stop using VoidStream and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or to protect others, and we will tell you why unless the law or someone’s safety prevents it. Parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as the limits of liability and governing law, continue after your account ends.
VoidStream is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it fast and reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or work with every source. We are not responsible for sources run by others or for the content they provide.
To the extent the law allows, VoidStream LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of VoidStream. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
If someone makes a claim against us because of sources or content you added, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are heard by the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them there. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, you keep the protections your local law gives you.
We may update these terms. We post the new version here with its date, and tell you in the app or on voidstream.tv before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using VoidStream after that, the new terms apply.
